PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient content conversion method using a template. SOLUTION: This method comprises a first step for making a template regulating the layout of a content for portable terminal into a DOM tree, and storing it in a template storage means; a second step for acquiring screen elements in an existing content in dynamic transformation of a content to a content request from a portable terminal, and forming a DOM tree of the screen elements, and a third step for composing the template made into the DOM tree with the formed DOM tree of the screen elements to form the content for portable terminal.
