An object of the present invention is to reveal an action of cPA on glial cells as a new physiological activity of cPA and to reveal the possibility of cPA as a medicament for treating a brain nerve disease including Alzheimer's disease, ischemic nerve disease, and Parkinsonism, and particularly cerebrovasucular dementia such as Binswanger's disease type dementia.
