<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method for a fine phase difference plate united with a liquid crystal display panel without using any dedicated mask. <P>SOLUTION: A phase difference film layer is formed on one surface of a light-transmissive member and a photoresist layer is formed on the phase difference film; and a liquid crystal display panel constituted so that light is not transmitted through specified pixels and the light-transmissive member are put one over the other, and the photoresist is irradiated with light in a direction wherein the light is transmitted through the liquid crystal display panel to subject the part of the photoresist irradiated with the light to chemical reaction. Then the part of the photoresist irradiated with the light or the part of the photoresist which is not irradiated with the light is melted and removed, the part of the phase difference film where the photoresist is removed is melted and removed, and the photoresist which is not removed is removed to produce the phase difference film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
