PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving state management device for always using the latest information to easily update a channel by accurately managing the receiving state of a digital broadcasting receiver. SOLUTION: The receiving state management device 1 transmits a receivable channel and a receiving state at the installed place of the digital broadcasting receiver (receiver 6) to the digital broadcasting receiver (receiver 6). The device 1 obtains information of the receiving location and receiving state of the digital broadcasting receiver (receiver 6) from the digital broadcasting receiver (receiver 6) and updates the management information of the receiving state.
