PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for removing vibration of a disk driver due to the mass eccentricity of a disk by determining an allowable high multi-speed of a disk based on the allowable amount of vibration for a disk driver and driving the disk driver. SOLUTION: This method of removing vibration in the disk driver includes a step in which the amount of vibration corresponding to the mass eccentricity of the disk inserted into the disk driver is detected, and a step in which high multi-speed set to the disk driver is increased until the amount of vibration reaches an allowable amount of vibration with respect to the disk driver. Thereby, the disk driver is driven so that a user cannot perceive vibration and damages to the disk driver due to vibration can be minimized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
