PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the need of the massive storage of printed matters and eliminate the waste of the printed matters. SOLUTION: Paper 2 disposed in the form of a group 5 inside a storage area 3 by a predetermined initial layout is removed from an area 3 in the form of the group and is fed long a path P1 extended through a working section 45. The paper 2 is re-formed in the form of the group 5, removed in the form of the group from the path P1 in the downstream of the section 45 and fed to the area 3, and a predetermined array similar to an initial array is usually formed in the area 3. A first pallet 4a loaded with the group 5 of the paper 2 is moved to an unloading area 11 disposed at the input end of the path P1, the group 5 is fed along the path P1, an initially empty second pallet 4b is moved into a loading area 13 disposed at the outlet end of the path P1 and receives the group 5 of the treated paper 2.
