SEAT BACK UNLOCKING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat back unlocking mechanism assuring a fine appearance because there is no part protruding from the seat surface and involving no necessity for providing separately any pull-up belt etc. for pulling up the seat back tilted down ahead etc. SOLUTION: The seat back unlocking mechanism is equipped with two through holes 21 and 22 formed in the back face of the seat back S2 and a band-shaped operating member 3 whose middle part 32 is arranged along the back face of the seat back S2 between the two through holes 21 and 22 and other parts are wired to inside the seat back S2 upon passing through the holes 21 and 22 in such a way that one end 31 is coupled with the seat back S2 and the other end 33 is coupled with a lever arm 61 for turning an unlocking arm 51 of a lock device 1, whereby the seat back S2 locked by the lock device 1 is unlocked by the movement of the other end 33 when the middle part 32 is pulled to outside the seat back S2.
