摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet device capable of adjusting the discharge amount irregularity of liquid droplets by a simple constitution, and a liquid droplet discharge control method therefor. SOLUTION: A drive signal making circuit produces pressure fluctuations of a degree not discharging ink droplets in the ink within a pressure chamber to emit preparatory pulses SP1 and SP2 for moving a meniscus prior to discharge pulses DP2 and DP3. A control part sets the waveform shape of a drive signal on the basis of the wave height value offset data stored in a discremination data memory part. A decoder judges whether the preparatory pulses SP1 and SP2 are used, on the basis of the wave height value offset data to differentiate the translation content of printing data corresponding to the judge result.
