A foam control for a fire fighting jet has a flow control fitting (1) fitted to a side entry of a jet via threaded couplings (20) or via rapid couplings. The control has a conventional stepped adjustment for adding foam in the range of 1 percent and 6 percent. The invention describes an additional fine control for adding foam concentrate in the range of 0.1 percent to 1 percent. This is via a rotating outer sleeve with ratchet grips in kidney shaped grooves.
