PURPOSE: A bar-check board for sound speed correction of an echo sounder is provided to reduce working time and measurement time by simplifying bar-check board installation work and thus to improve measurement accuracy. CONSTITUTION: The bar-check board comprises a wire(10) and a number of bar-check plates(20). The bar-check plates have different diameter and are connected to accurate position of a constant space(2m or 5m). The bar-check plates are formed in a various size of 50,100,150,200,250,300,350 and 400 mm. The bar-check plate of largest diameter is connected to the outermost end of the wire, and the diameter of the bar-check plate decreases as it goes to upper part.
