PURPOSE: A plug and a receptacle are provided to reduce contact badness between contacts, accurately connect to the receptacle, and be easily separated from the receptacle. CONSTITUTION: The plug(100) has a plug frame part(31), a header part(1A) with a flat panel type accommodated in the plug frame part, a pair of lock arms(7A,7B) supported to the plug frame part, and an insulating plug shutter. The insulating plug shutter is movably is installed along inserting and ejecting directions with respect to the plug frame part. A pair of the lock arms have bodies(71A,71B) extended toward a receptacle(9), hook parts(73A,73B) formed at a front end side of the body, and an operation member formed at a base end side. The plug shutter has a shutter frame part(31), a pair of lever parts(3A,3B) and a pair of convex parts(3E,3F).
