PURPOSE: A staple for a tacker is provided to prevent a staple from being separated from a wooden plate after the staple is inserted into the wooden plate even if external impact is applied to the wooden plate. CONSTITUTION: A staple assembly includes a plurality of staples(1-1) forming a body(1) of the staple assembly. A bending head section(1a) is formed at an upper end portion of the body(1). A needle section(1b) is formed at a lower end portion of the body(1). Locking protrusions(2) are continuously formed at leg sections of each staple(1-1) of the staple assembly. When plates are coupled to each other by means of the staple, the plates are securely fastened to each other due to the locking protrusions(2) formed at the legs of the staple(1-1).
