The applicator has an application unit with a support (15) in plastic material for carrying a bundle of bristles (20). The bundle has an end defining a row of bristles (50) extending in a longitudinal direction of the support. The bundle is divided at a distance from the end in to two sub-bundles. The sub-bundles define another (30) and third rows of bristles (40) extending partly at an end of the support. An independent claim is also included for a packing and application device.
