The cellular system for transmission of data in heterogeneous networks uses several cellular radio communication systems (MN1-5) in communication with each other. They are in two-way communication with a base station (BS) and are controlled by it. Each cell has a WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) access point (AP) exchanging signals with the radios. The base station as connected to a first backbone net (Bb1) and the access point is connected to a second backbone net (Bb2) and both nets are connected to each other.
