<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video presenting method capable of easily grasping the outline of video having no scene change large in feature amount change or video having any meaning in motion. SOLUTION: A video material 1 is inputted from a video input part 2 so as to be accessed for the unit of a frame. A motion feature detecting part 3 detects the motion feature amount of these video contents for each frame. A frame division deciding part 6 divides an image into continuous motion blocks while defining a frame, where the detected motion feature amount is less than a threshold value set in advance, as a partition. A still picture preparing part 4 for presentation prepares one still picture by overlapping the images in the continuous motion blocks for the unit of a frame. A presenting part 7 arranges and displays the prepared still picture in the order of time on a screen. When the instruction of a video number or the like is inputted from a user by a pointing device 9, the presenting part 7 is controlled through a UI control part 8 and the relevant image stored in a buffer memory 5 or the like is reproduced and displayed by a video reproducing part 10.</p> |
