PURPOSE: An electrical apparatus is provided to prevent an early breakdown of electrolytic capacitor and lengthen the useful life of the apparatus by arranging the electrolytic capacitor on a circuit board so as to be shielded from electronic components. CONSTITUTION: An electrical apparatus(7) comprises a circuit board(30); and a case(4) for accommodating the circuit board. The circuit board includes an electrolytic capacitor(34) and electronic components made of a resin material containing halogen compounds. The electrolytic capacitor is arranged to be shielded from the electronic components. The electrolytic capacitor is shielded from the electronic components by a coating of a shielding member at an end of seal portion of the electrolytic capacitor.
