Error protection of data with a header in a transmission system

摘要

The method involves exchanging data having a format comprising several headers and a data field. An indicating segment is disposed after a header situated at start of the data field. The segment is compatible with format of exchanged data and has redundant data to detect and correct error. The segment has one part designed to protect the header and another part corresponding to an error correcting code. An independent claim is also included for a data transmitting device.
