<p>Functions on a motor vehicle (MV) (1) are implemented relating to the MV's driving safety. Data is transmitted via a publicly accessible message channel (2) from a maintenance center (31,32) to the MV so as to parameterize, load and/or change a safety-related program code stored in the motor vehicle's data memory. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a data-processing unit for a motor vehicle for carrying out a method for parameterizing, loading and/or changing a safety-related program code stored in a motor vehicle's data memory; (b) and for a motor vehicle with a data-processing unit; and (c) a device for parameterizing, loading and/or changing a safety-related program code stored in a motor vehicle's data memory.</p> |
