A heat insulation kit is applied externally to a cellar ventilation window to prevent the formation of a heat bridge between the cellar wall and the light shaft. The heat insulation kit (1) with a panel (2), the surface of which is partly or wholly esp. bears a lamination (3) which is a fibre-cement panel, a plastic panel or a spray-applied plastic panel attached by an adhesive or bolts as appropriate.
