<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the function of an ID code and the like even in the disconnected state of an ignition power supply line by providing a code collating part with a sleep mode reset from a sleep state at the time of an ignition power supply being switched on, and resetting the code collating part from the sleep state when the code collating part and an engine control part become communicable. SOLUTION: When an IG switch 15 is off or disconnected and a communication line is low or put in a disconnected state after completing a normal action mode, the mode is shifted to a sleep mode. When the communication line between an IM unit 4 and an EGI unit 9 becomes high even though the IG switch 15 is off, the IM unit 4 is woken up, and in case the off state of the IG switch 15 continues for the specified time after wake-up, an indicator 16 is blinked to inform an occupant of a failure. The IG switch 15 is thus switched on using a normal IG key. An ID code is thereby collated in the IM unit 4 so as to be able to start an engine.</p> |
