PURPOSE:To obtain a strong molded product wherein inner and outer layers are welded by fitting outer shell divided pieces obtained by dividing a hollow molded product into a plurality of parts in a blow mold to weld the inner surfaces of them and subjecting a hollow inner layer to blow molding. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower outer shell divided pieces 101a, 101b are set to the inner walls of blow molds 106a, 106b. Next, a cylindrical infrared quartz heater 109 emitting infrared rays is inserted in the space between the blow molds 106a, 106b from below to heat the inner walls of the upper and lower outer shell divided pieces 101a, 101b. When it is confirmed that the inner walls of the upper and lower outer shell divided pieces 101a, 101b begin to melt, the infrared quartz heater 109 is removed downwardly and, subsequently, a tubular parison 108 is extruded downwardly from an extrusion head 107 and subjected to blow molding at the same time when the blow molds 106a, 106b are closed. The parison 108 is deformed along the shapes of the inner walls of the upper and lower outer shell divided pieces 101a, 101b to be brought into close contact with the inner walls of them to perfectly weld inner and outer layers. |
