PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation slide support used in a high load loading structure. SOLUTION: A base isolation slide support is formed such that a pair of slide bearings are situated in a manner to relatively movably make contact with each other between upper and lower structures. At least one of a pair of the slide bearings is a porous structure molded product having a plurality of voids and formed of a composition containing 14-35 wt.% aromatic polyester consisting mainly of tetrafluoroethylene resin or a composite substance having the molded product formed on a base material surface. The slide bearing has a lubricant holding layer where a fluidizable lubricant is held on the void on the surface part of the molded product. Since the slide bearing has high compressibility of 900 MPa or more and a low friction factor of 0.02 or less and a low friction factor is maintained for a long period, this slide bearing is specially useful as a base isolation slide support used in a high load loading structure. |
