A telecommunications module (12) includes a housing (20), a plurality of contacts (18), which are exposed to allow the connection of wires therewith, and a connecting device (24) for connecting at least some of the contacts (18) with other contacts of the telecommunications module (12), wherein the connecting device (24) is partially accommodated in the housing (20) and partially extends outside the housing (20).
