PURPOSE: A channel estimation apparatus in a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) system and a method thereof are provided to obtain an accurate integrated value at any time by compensating a channel error due to the delay of demodulating period occurring during an integrating period of a received channel. CONSTITUTION: Channel integrators(121,123) integrate received signals into an integer times of a channel code period. A demodulating period delay compensating part computes a channel variation rate per an hour for the integrated received signals, and compensates a variation amount of total channels of which demodulating periods have been delayed. A complex multiplier(133) complex-multiplies and channel-compensates the channels where the delay in the demodulating period has been compensated, and the received signals.
