<p>Filter pockets are joined together so that the main part of their connecting edges are located behind the plane of the filter device frame, w.r.t the air flow direction. A filter device for use in a ventilation installation comprises a flexible filter material forming a number of pockets whose open ends face in the opposite direction to the air flow. The pockets are arranged side by side and joined together along their opening edges. The pockets are joined to a frame close to their open ends. The connections between the pockets are designed so that the main part of the connecting edges are located behind the plane of the frame, w.r.t the air flow direction, in order to prevent filter material close to the open ends of the pockets being moved so that these openings are reduced in size.</p> |
