PURPOSE: A concrete structure like an apartment building of wall-type structure and a load-carrying capacity and earthquake resistance reinforcement method thereof are provided to enhance the earthquake resistance performance of the concrete structure and to reinforce the earthquake resistance performance through low cost and easy construction. CONSTITUTION: A load-carrying capacity and earthquake resistance reinforcement method of a concrete structure like an apartment building of wall-type structure comprises steps of forming mounting grooves in wall bodies(110,120) of inner spaces; inserting reinforcing members(140,142) in the mounting grooves; fixing the reinforcing members to the wall bodies; and interconnecting the reinforcing members fixed to the wall bodies. The mounting grooves are formed in an elongated groove shape along the corners of the inner spaces.
