The electronic device for the measurement of force on the linkage of a vehicle transmission is fitted on an existing linkage arm (3,7) in the form of a casing (1). It determines the linkage moment for the purpose of controlling all possible measurement and regulating apparatus. The sensor (2) used is of a piezo material and is formed with straight small strips fixed to the casing. It may also comprise a pressure-sensitive material, such as carbon or plastic. The casing is fixed with bolts around the linkage arm, or is attached by adhesive or by clamping.
