<p>The invention concerns a device for water treatment by foaming, comprising: a reaction chamber (8); injecting means for bringing, through an injection orifice in the reaction chamber, water to be treated; means forming gas microbubbles (20) in the water to be treated; and condensing means (10) for collecting the foam produced. The invention is characterised in that the microbubbles are injected into the reaction chamber (8) with the water to be treated. The invention also concerns a method for water treatment by foaming which consists in: injecting water to be treated into a reaction chamber (8); forming gas microbubbles in the water to be treated; separating the foam produced from the water to be treated.
