PURPOSE: An optical pickup device for dual focusing is provided to enable dual focusing to record or reproduce data on a dual layer disk where dual recording layers are formed, thereby being applicable to the dual layer disk while using an existing slider technology. CONSTITUTION: A beam splitter(132) is additionally installed to reflect and transmit light irradiated from a light source. A reflecting mirror(131) is adjacent to the beam splitter(132), and reflects the light transmitted from the beam splitter(132) in parallel with a reflecting direction of the light reflected from the beam splitter(132). An optical head(120) enables the light reflected from the beam splitter(132) and the reflecting mirror(131) to be focused on each of recording layers(111,112) of a lower dual layer disk(110).
