LCD HAVING EXCELLENT IMAGE QUALITY WITHOUT CHROMATICITY DEGRADATION

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to have excellent image quality without chromaticity degradation and restrain the generation of badness. CONSTITUTION: An alignment mode of liquid crystals is twist alignment. A polarizing plate(13a) and one optical retardation plate(12b) are formed at a visiability surface side. A polarizing plate(13b) is formed at a rear surface. A ratio between a gap(dt) of a transmissive part and a gap(dr) of a reflective part satisfies the relation of 1.7<=dt/dr<= 2.05. A twist angle is 30 degrees to 60 degrees.
