DISPLAY DEVICE AND A DRIVING METHOD THEREOF TO ADOPT AN IMAGE SIGNAL LINE TIME DIVISION DRIVING SCHEME

PURPOSE: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to adopt an image signal line time division driving scheme and reduce a consumption power. CONSTITUTION: A connection switching circuit(502) connects an image signal line driving circuit(300) to image signal lines. The connection switching circuit is provided in a liquid crystal panel(500). The connection switching circuit includes an analog switch(SWi) connected to the image signal lines. The image signal lines are grouped as a plurality of groups. A plurality group of the image signal lines correspond to output terminals of the image signal line driving circuit. The other ends of the analog switch connected to the image signal line of the same group are mutually connected and are connected to one output terminal. The analog switch connects each output terminal within each horizontal scan period to two image signal lines of the same group.
