PURPOSE: A COT(Color Filter on Transistor)-structured semi-transmissive LCD device is provided to form a reflecting plate in the same process as an electrode material without another process, and to simultaneously form buffer patterns of the reflecting plate while fabricating a TFT, thereby omitting another reflecting plate fabrication process while minimizing color reproduction differences between color filters. CONSTITUTION: A TFT(T) is formed in a pixel area on a substrate(810), and consists of a gate electrode(812), a semiconductor layer(818), a source electrode(820), and a drain electrode(822). A reflecting plate(826) is made of the same material as an electrode material of the TFT(T) on the substrate(810). A black matrix(830) is formed in a position for covering the TFT(T). Color filters(842) are formed in order of red, green, and blue colors. Pixel electrodes(848) are connected to the drain electrode(822), and are made of transparent conductive materials.
