PURPOSE: A latch having a switch is provided to improve lock strength and to keep the lock force of the outside of a movable member by mounting a lock mechanism between the outside of the movable member and a housing facing the outside of the movable member. CONSTITUTION: A push-type lock mechanism is locked by press-fitting a movable member elastically supported by an elastic member at the projection position protruded from a housing(11) in the housing against the elastic force of the elastic member to lock the movable member at a press-fit position and a switch is turned on or off. The lock mechanism is unlocked by press-fitting the movable member in the housing against the elastic force of the elastic member to return the movable member to the projection position by the elastic force and the switch is turned on or off.
