SHIFT LEVER OF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FOR VEHICLE, WHCIH OPERATES SHIFTING SWITCH BACK AND FORTH WHILE WATCHING AHEAD

PURPOSE: A shift lever of an automatic transmission for a vehicle is provided to shift into the high speed range or the low speed range safely and quickly by operating the shifting switch back and forth while watching ahead. CONSTITUTION: A shift lever(100) is composed of a knob(110) formed in the top, and a shaft(120) formed in the lower part and combined with a shift rod to convert the shift range by the shift rod. A shifting switch(111) is installed at a side of the knob, and operated independently by pushing forward or pulling backward. Shifting into the high speed range is performed in pushing the shifting switch forward, and shifting into the low speed range is performed in pulling the shifting switch backward. The shaft is connected to the shift rod of a top cover(200) through a stepped groove(220), and the shift rod is operated in operating the shaft by the knob to shift gradually.
