METHOD FOR EVALUATING PERFORMANCE OF FINGERPRINT RECOGNITION SYSTEM TO ENHANCE RELIABILITY OF PERFORMANCE INDEX

PURPOSE: A method for evaluating a performance of a fingerprint recognition system is provided to enhance the reliability of a performance index and compare the performances objectively while automatically measuring the performance for a recognition algorithm. CONSTITUTION: A template for all fingerprint images selected by a template generation policy is generated/stored in a database. After a similarity between respective templates is calculated/compared, and the similarity is stored in the database. A test result is analyzed by using a matching score and a performance test result is displayed as a graph.
