SURFACE TREATMENT SOLUTION FOR ALUMINUM OR ALUMINUM ALLOY AND ALUMINUM OR ALUMINUM ALLOY TREATED BY THE SAME

PURPOSE: A surface treatment solution for aluminum or aluminum alloy is provided which is inexpensive and capable of beautifully processing external appearance of the work by forming irregular crystal patterns on the surface of the work by simple dipping process, and an aluminum or aluminum alloy whose surface is treated by the same is provided. CONSTITUTION: The surface treatment solution for aluminum or aluminum alloy comprises 10 to 40 vol.% of ferric chloride solution having specific gravity of Be 42°, 5 to 10 vol.% of nitric acid having concentration of 67% and 50 to 70 vol.% of phosphoric acid having concentration of 85%. The aluminum or aluminum alloy is characterized in that irregular crystal patterns are formed on the surface of the aluminum or aluminum alloy by dipping the aluminum or aluminum alloy into a surface treatment solution comprising 10 to 40 vol.% of ferric chloride solution having specific gravity of Be 42°, 5 to 10 vol.% of nitric acid having concentration of 67% and 50 to 70 vol.% of phosphoric acid having concentration of 85%.
