PURPOSE: A buried pipeline excavation system is provided to heighten constructability, economical efficiency and safety. CONSTITUTION: The buried pipeline excavation system(1) contains: an air turbine(80) installed to the inside of a main body(10) and driving an excavation head(30) by compressive air supplied through an external pneumatic hose(17); many air motors(90) installed on the lower part of the main body(10) and driving a feed device(50) by compressive air supplied through the external pneumatic hose(17); a support(70) installed on the upper part of the main body(10) and supported by many pneumatic cylinders(40) and many plate booms operated by compressive air supplied through the external pneumatic hose(17); many high-pressure water injection nozzles installed to spray high-pressure water supplied through an external high-pressure water line forward or backward; many pneumatic cylinders(40) controlling the height of the feed device(50) by compressive air supplied through the external pneumatic hose(17); and one or more pneumatic control blocks(63,65) controlling pneumatic pressure supplied to the air turbine(80), the air motor(90) and many pneumatic cylinders(40) by power sources supplied through an external electric wire.
