METHOD OF DETERMINING NUCLEAR REACTOR CORE FUEL ASSEMBLY LOADING PATTERN BY SEARCHING AND OPTIMIZING ALL POSSIBLE LOADING PATTERNS FOR NUCLEAR CORE

PURPOSE: A method of determining nuclear reactor core fuel assembly loading pattern by searching and optimizing all possible loading patterns for a nuclear core is provided to search loading patterns to satisfying specific engineering conditions, and reduce errors in linearization. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the first step of determining level of reaction of each of fuel assemblies; the second step of dividing the fuel assemblies into multiple batches of fuel assembly of rough level having similar level of reaction; the third step of creating a plurality of loading patterns by using constraints of the core selected in consideration of all fuel assemblies in each of the batches of the fuel assembly having the same rough level of reaction; the fourth step of selecting a batch loading pattern from the selected plural upper loading patterns; the fifth step of dividing the multiple batches of fuel assembly into the number of refined batches of fuel assembly; the sixth step of judging whether a certain lower loading pattern of the refined batch of the fuel assembly satisfying specific core loading position constraints, satisfies specific engineering conditions, and selecting the optimum lower loading pattern optimally satisfying the specific engineering conditions is the certain lower loading pattern satisfies; the seventh step of removing all of the selected loading patterns which do not satisfy the specific engineering conditions; the eighth step of updating the upper loading pattern with the optimum lower loading pattern with respect to each of the upper loading patterns having the optimum lower loading pattern; the ninth step of repeating the fifth to eighth steps until each of batches of fuel assembly constitutes a single fuel assembly; and the tenth step of selecting a final loading pattern from the remaining loading patterns.
