PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing a dispersion of polymer particle dispersed in a liquid lipid phase and an ester of carboxylic acid having 1 to 7 carbons and polyol having 4 hydroxyl groups. It allows a film having non-transfer properties, good staying powder and spreadability to be obtained on the skin. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic composition comprises: (a) at least one liquid lipid phase; (b) a dispersion of at least one polymer particle with an average particle size of 5 to 800nm dispersed in the at least one liquid lipid phase; and (c) at least one ester of at least one carboxylic acid comprising 1 to 7 carbons and at least one polyol comprising at least 4 hydroxyl groups, wherein the at least one ester has a molecular weight of 5,000g/mol or less. The polyol is monosaccharide, polysaccharide with a monosaccharide unit of 1 to 10, or monosaccharide derivatives selected from erythritol, xylitol, sorbitol and glucose.
