PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder equipped with handrails formed of a pipe member, which can mount the handrails thereon by strongly clamping mounting screws while preventing the handrails from collapsing. SOLUTION: The ladder consists of a pair of right and left supports 2, 2, rungs 3, 3, etc. connecting the supports together and arranged between the supports at regular longitudinal intervals, and the handrails formed of the pipe member at both upper edges of the supports 2, 2. According to the ladder, a handrail mounting bracket 8 having a handrail insertion recess 8a formed therein is arranged on the support at a handrail 7 mounting location, and a pipe end of the handrail 7 having a collapse preventing member 16 inserted therein is inserted into the insertion recess 8a formed in the handrail, followed by inserting the mounting screw 17 from the outside of the mounting bracket 8 and penetrating the pipe end having the collapse preventing member 16 inserted therein and the support 2.
