POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION

A polyester resin composition which is excellent in impact resistance especially at low temperatures and in rigidity and fracture toughness. The polyester resin composition comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyester resin and (B) 5 to 200 parts by weight of a modified ethylene/alpha-olefin random copolymer obtained by grafting (B-2) an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof onto (B-1) an ethylene/alpha-olefin random copolymer consisting of ethylene units and C6-20 alpha-olefin unuts, wherein the amount of the grafted unsaturated carboxylic acid or derivative thereof (B-2) is 0.01 to 10 wt.%, and the ethylene/alpha-olefin random copolymer (B-1) before grafting has (a) a content of C6-20 alpha-olefin units of 6 to 25 mol% and (b) a melt flow rate (ASTM D1238; 190<o>C ; load, 2.16 kg) of 0.1 to 50 g/10min.
