<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information visualization device, method and program that enable selective extraction of only objects of attention depending on personal interest or critical mind, and reference to or arrangement of relevance in the extracted information. <P>SOLUTION: A feature extraction part 4 extracts features from information contents of all information elements. A frequency vector computation part 5, according to the features of the information elements, computes a frequency vector of every information element. A relevance weight computation part 6 arbitrarily selects one information element from all the information elements, and computes relevance weights on all relevance combinations of the selected information element with the other information elements. A display layout setting part 8 normalizes the relevance weights according to the size of a display area of a display part 11, sets a display layout of information displayed on the display part 11 according to the normalized relevance weights, and saves the set display layout in a display layout storage part 9.
