<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CDMA system, a receiver and a method which more exactly detect a path position in up-link reception, by utilizing CODE's orthogonality that is, one of features of the CDMA system. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver has a correlator for obtaining a correlation value in a correct CODE and a correlator for obtaining a correlation value in an incorrect CODE, i.e., two correlators for one path. An output difference is taken from the two correlators to cancel noise components and hence the difference between the correlation value at the path position and the correlation value in other phases, thus obtaining a more exact path position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
