<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling device for a three-phase AC motor that corrects delay time when ON delay time is different from OFF delay time in switching elements, and that has improved control stability. <P>SOLUTION: In the controlling device for a three-phase AC motor that controls an inverter using power switching elements, means are provided that calculate a delay time correction value and a voltage command correction value based on the ON delay time and the OFF delay time of the power switching elements, that transforms DC-AC coordinate using a corrected phase angle based on the delay time correction value, and that corrects pulse width of PWM control using the voltage command correction value. When the ON delay time is represented as Ton, the OFF delay time as Toff, and dead time as Tdead, a sum of time from reference angle reading up to a command phase angle (3/2)ΔT and the delay times (Tdead+Ton+Toff)/2 is multiplied by electrical angular speed ωre.
