PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery managing device of a vehicle which can prevent the deterioration of the durability and the reliability of the battery by simply and accurately detecting the overcharging state of the battery and which holds the riding quality properly with a small shock caused by turning on or off of a generator. SOLUTION: The battery managing device 32 performs a charging pause process for setting a voltage value lower by a predetermined value than a normal charging voltage value without cutting off a power generation by a motor/generator 15 when it is determined that a 36V battery 16 is the overcharging state from the current value of the 36V battery 16.
