PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly determine whether a plurality of services provided by a plurality of protocols are the same.

SOLUTION: A block diagram shows the entire configuration of a service transmission and reception system provided with a service providing device and service using devices relating to this invention. As shown in the diagram, the service transmission and reception system is provided with the service providing device 1 for providing various services and a plurality of service using devices 2A, 2B and 2C for receiving the providing of the various services from the service providing device 1. Since a service identifier for identifying a providable service is provided commonly among a plurality of protocols to transmit service information in transmitting the service information from the service providing device 1 to the service using devices 2, the service using devices 2 can correctly determine whether a plurality of services provided by individual protocols are the same. Then, inconvenience that the same service is overlappedly received, or the like is prevented.
