PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared touch switch allowing the prevention of false-operation and an increase in operability. SOLUTION: This infrared touch switch comprises an infrared light-emitting element 1 and an infrared light-receiving element installed on the opposite side of the operating face of an operating panel, a first mask 11 installed between the operating panel 3 and the infrared light-emitting element and specifying the light path of infrared ray outgoing from the infrared light-emitting element, a second mask 6 installed between the operating panel and the infrared light-receiving element and incoming into the infrared light-receiving element, and a sensitivity zone where the infrared light-emitting path zone of the infrared light-emitting element on the operating surface side of the operating panel is overlapped with the infrared light-receiving path zone of the infrared light-receiving element. Also, the first mask 11 is disposed to specify the optical path of infrared ray from the infrared light-emitting element 1 so that the infrared light-emitting route zone is tilted relative to the optical axis of the infrared light-emitting element so as to converge the sensitivity zone near the operating surface side of the operating panel.
