<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate mounting jig capable of using it repeatedly and fabricating it at a low cost wherein the cracking of a solar battery element and the sticking of solder to the jig are prevented when processing the element to coat the element with the solder. <P>SOLUTION: In the substrate mounting jig 2, a plurality of substrates 1 are so mounted on bottom-surface supporting members 5 as to hold the substrates at a predetermined space by side-surface supporting members 7.
