PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for adjusting a roll forming device by which a roll interval between a first forming roll and a second forming roll can be measured in common with respective stands and regulated. SOLUTION: A movable adjusting device 6 which is provided movably along the series arrangement direction of stands 2 constituting a stand group 1, measures the roll interval between a first forming roll 4 and a second forming roll 5, and can adjust the roll interval is prepared. A regulating stage where the movable adjusting device 6 is arranged on one stand 2, so that the roll intreval is measured, and further, the rollerval is regulated in accordance with the measured result is performed. Thereafter, the movable regulating device 6 is moved along the series arrangement direction of the stands 2, and is arranged at another stand 2, so that a regulating stage is similarly performed as for the another stand.
