Servobrake (10), especially for motor vehicles, comprises a control valve (22) controlling the boosting force and having a control valve housing (18), an input element (24), an output element (34) and a pressure part (38) arranged between the input and output elements and acting on the output element. Depending on an axial relative movement between the pressure part and the control valve housing induced by the input element, the pressure part is reversibly coupled to a device (74) counter-acting an axial backward displacement of the pressure part relative to the control valve housing and introducing forces transferred from the output element to the pressure part into the control valve housing. When coupled to the pressure part the device exerts a pre-determined spring force in the axial direction onto the pressure part using a spring element assigned to the device.
